QAD is a highly configurable ERP system. However, sometimes our clients have a special need for functionality that is not out of the box.
When special functionality is required the enhancement process starts with a discussions between the client and one of our application consultants. They will determine client’s requirements. A functional specification will be produced which will include a detailed test plan. Following approval of the functional specification and quotation, the programmers will commence coding on our internal development site, then unit test and hand back to the application consultant for detailed testing. Client testing involves us delivering the enhancement to your development or test environment. Once testing is approved, we move the enhancement to your production environment. For our Regulated clients, we follow their Software Development Life Cycle or Change Management process.
