Kettering is seeking a full time technical consultant to join our growing team.

This role includes the technical implementation of QAD ERP software and its support. System configuration, data migration and integration with other systems will also form part of this role.

The position will be based in our Toowong office, but some travel may be required to client sites throughout Australia New Zealand, and Fiji.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience with Progress and / or QAD. However, applicants with a good knowledge 4GL, Python, Bash & Korn scripting should also apply. This role also has the opportunity to expand your Webservices knowledge (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML), and DBA Skills.

It is also important that you can navigate across many operating systems. Our most common is RHEL, but the following we also support, and it would be desirable to have an understanding or be able to transfer your skills across platforms, including Windows Servers, Desktop, Tablets, etc. It would be beneficial to also know, but not limited to AIX; CentOS; HP-UX; Oracle; and Solaris systems.

It is essential that the successful person will demonstrate:

• Ability to follow procedures in a detailed manner
• Provide expert advice and solve problems in a professional manner
• Ability to work to a deadline

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Australia and be able to provide relevant industry qualifications and/or experience. This role is to start immediately.
